Who am I?
I am a passionate learning and training professional looking for innovative and practical solutions to meet your learning needs. I have over ten years of experience designing and developing learning content and programs for professionals, higher education, and K-12 institutions leveraging learning technology. I specialize in creating end-to-end learning content and programs for face-to-face, online, and blended learning environments.
I started my career as a K-12 classroom teacher, where I worked to support my students and improve educational content in the areas of Special Education and English Language Learners. I also discovered my love for STEAM education and started my journey of finding ways to improve access and quality for all students. As I developed more and more educational content, I soon discovered how vital quality educational materials were to support my students both inside and outside of the classroom. This led me to pursue growing my understanding and producing personalized and practical content for my students to use. This ultimately led to me becoming more interested in helping others provide quality content and improve learning programs for learners, and I was able to transition into a career in higher education, supporting faculty in the design and delivery of course content. This opportunity allowed me to continue to grow and consult with faculty from different disciplines and from all over the world to provide their students with the best learning opportunities. During this time, I also began to work as a freelance educational consultant supporting the design, development, and implementation of learning programs for maximum effect and efficiency, where I worked with publishers, curriculum developers, and technical trainers. I moved into professional learning as a consultant for a healthcare network, where I guided learning programs, created content for team members at all levels, and advised on effective learning practices and technology. I currently work as a learning program manager for a financial services institution, developing end-to-end learning solutions to address strategic and organizational needs.
